The UKHTA Meetings in 2015

Watch this space for details of another year of classic bike shows and Turbo fun. For some pictures and details of our meetings in 2014 go to our 2014 meetings page

January 1st
Our usual small gathering for members in the South East of England on New Years Day for lunch at Box Hill. The cold doesn't stop our members!

March 15th
Ace Cafe London - We were invited to attend the CX / GL club meeting at this classic biker cafe. As usual we get a good turnout for such a small club.

June 12th / 14th
German CX Turbo Club Meeting, 51545 Waldbröl in Germany. A fun meeting with our German Turbo friends, Dampfrad. 25 Turbos made the weekend event and after a morning run in the rain we had a great run in the sunny afternoon. A fantastic setting with some great alpine twisty roads.

July 11th / 12th
Bike Bike Bonanza, Mallory Park. The unveiling of our new club gazebo at the ever wind-swept Mallory park. More info...

July 19th
VMCC Founders Day, Stanford Hall - Back on our club diary after a few years absence. A mainly british bike event there were some other machines there too and we added a bit of spice to the event which was a very well run and relaxed show. Fantastic setting and really nice organisers. We rode around the arena in the parade and the commentator had no idea what to say, so just left us to ride around and show off the bikes.

August 8th / 9th
VJMC Classic Bike Show, Donington Park. Paul was awarded 3rd place for best bike in show and racing legends Freddie Spencer and Ron Haslam visited the stand to say hello. We all got to ride around Donington with the stars on Sunday.

August 28th / 30th
Dutch Turbo Club meeting, Sneek in Holland. We were again invited to the annual meeting of our good Dutch Turbo friends, Honda First Turbo Club. We had 24 Turbos arrive for the weekend and had a really good time, some nice rides and plenty of social time. It is a lovely part of Holland and the people are all so friendly.

October 4th
Copdock Motorcycle Show, Ipswich - A great one day event packed with shows, trade stands, clubs and displays. However most of the active club members were on holiday so we only had two bikes and a few people to man the stand. We've been promoted to the club hall.

October 17th / 18th
Motorcycle Mechanics Show, Stafford - One of our long running favourite events, this year featuring Paul's christmas lights to give the stand a bit of a shine.

November 13th / 15th
Classic Motor and Motorcycle Show, NEC Birmingham - Our last show of the year is at the three day Classic Motor and Classic Motorcycle Show at the NEC in Birmingham. We had a good turnout of bikes and a lot of interest from other clubs and the public. We held our AGM at the Harvester Restaurant in Sutton Coldfield on Saturday evening. A good final event to finish off the year.

The UK Honda Turbo Association is a not-for-profit club. We have no paid staff and all administration is undertaken by volunteers. Our aim is to promote the rare and iconic Honda CX Turbo motorbikes, ensuring they are kept running and on the road for people to enjoy for years to come. If you would like get involved and help the UKHTA in this quest, or if you would simply like to know more or become a member then please contact us or visit us at one of the many motorcycle shows we attend during the year.
